About Frank R. DiFranco, Principal
Frank R. DiFranco began his career as a Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney, where he rose to become a Felony Trial Attorney. In 1994, he founded DiFranco & Associates, P.C., establishing himself as a top attorney in criminal and personal injury law in Northern Cook County.
As a personal injury lawyer, Mr. DiFranco has earned a lifetime position in the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum due to the significant verdicts he has won for his clients.

Meet Our Team
Cassie Vanko
Cassie is an experienced attorney practicing throughout the Chicagoland area, known for her strong litigation skills and client-focused approach. She earned her Juris Doctor from UIC Law, where she was recognized on the Dean’s List, and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in political science from Northern Illinois University.
Cassie began her legal career at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, first as a law clerk in the felony trial division and later as a licensed prosecutor. In that role, she gained extensive courtroom experience handling a wide range of criminal and traffic matters. Following her time as a prosecutor, Cassie shifted her practice to civil litigation, focusing on medical malpractice defense. She has successfully managed complex, high-stakes cases, including multi-million-dollar claims, and has assisted in defending physicians and healthcare providers against significant allegations.
Her unique background across both criminal and civil litigation allows Cassie to view each matter from multiple angles, developing creative and effective strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes for her clients.
